The onset of the global pandemic brought on a transformation that shook the very idea of how we work to its core. Nearly 75% of the U.S. workforce is now practicing or implementing a permanent hybrid work model, compared to only 30% pre-pandemic. This drastic change to a hybrid world means employers must actively revamp old processes and programs to stay efficient and effective in a new environment.

Even with the majority of companies offering wellness benefits or programs, organizations are struggling to help employees stay healthy physically and emotionally in a drastically new work environment: Nearly 40% of U.S. adults suffer from obesity, which is linked to heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes. Mental health is another growing medical concern with one in five adults experiencing mental illness each year. These statistics indicate that even though corporate wellness programs can be an effective tool for improving employee health, they are not adapting enough to deliver on this promise in a hybrid space. If companies want to develop and sustain a community of healthy employees in a hybrid world, they must do more. They must create a culture of health.

Join Geoff Geredien, Chief Growth Officer of Wellable, to learn about the importance of building a culture of health within your hybrid organization and walk away with 6 actionable tips to help you create a workplace environment that is committed to improving overall employee health. Round out the discussion with an inside look into Wellable’s 2023 Employee Wellness Industry Trends Report to learn more about the future of employee well-being and reveal where companies are investing their wellness dollars over the next year.
