“Mindfulness, Compassion and Resilience in the Workplace” (Dr. Barry Kerzin)
Most – if not all of us – have some anger, jealousy, pride, self-doubt, and “monkey mind.” These can be reduced through resilience and healthy self-confidence. Moving beyond empathy to compassion we can develop more contentment and meaning in our lives, thus reducing the fuel for burnout. Resilience is further enhanced through practicing mindfulness and meditation. Small discussion groups will explore these topics further.
