Tobacco Cessation with ASHLine: Employee Health and ROI

$6,000 per year in annual excess cost for a private US company to employ ONE smoker.

$96,000 per year in annual excess costs for a business with 100 employees and a 16% smoking rate (16 smokers x $6,000 excess costs).

The Arizona Smokers’ Helpline (ASHLine) at the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health is here to help you find out what tobacco is costing your business. Tobacco cessation benefit programs (counseling and medication) result in positive return on investment within the first year just due to productivity increases and after two years due to medical cost savings.

In this webinar, participants will learn discover:

  • Tobacco’s cost to employers
  • Tobacco cessation requirements
  • How ASHLine services can benefit your company’s bottom line and your employee’s health
