About This Event

During this training, employers will learn how to design a healthy worksite program according to their business’ needs. Tools and resources to support efforts in this area also will be provided.

The HAWP 101 online training consists of four modules, each takes about 30 minutes to complete. This course provides learners with the practical knowledge and tools to design and deliver evidence-based worksite wellness programming. Further, completion of this training is the first step in becoming eligible for the Healthy Arizona Worksite Award and being recognized by the Arizona Department of Health Services.

Before you start this training, make sure you have 30 minutes set aside to complete each module in one sitting. For your convenience you can take each module separately over multiple days or set aside two hours to complete it all in one sitting. You will receive a survey after the course completion to receive your certificate and to provide your comments and feedback.

About The Presenter

Participation in this training also is the first step in becoming eligible for the Healthy Arizona Worksite Award and being recognized by the Arizona Department of Health Services. The Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) is a statewide public health initiative developed through the Arizona Department of Health Services.
