Put Diabetes Prevention to Work: A Healthier Workforce Starts Here
A trained Healm Guide from the APhA Foundation will discuss type 2 diabetes prevention efforts in the workforce and how public health leaders and employers can work together to prevent type 2 diabetes during this one-hour webinar. We will discuss the impact prediabetes and type 2 diabetes have on your employees’ health and explore the benefits of offering the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) lifestyle change program as a covered benefit for your employees.
Discover ways Healm, a free online platform developed with and for employers to help you make informed decisions about providing the National DPP lifestyle change program as a covered benefit to your employees, can support you in designing a diabetes prevention strategy in your workforce—thus reducing diabetes-related costs and helping improve health and wellness for your employees.
