Maricopa County collects no personally identifying information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals. In addition, Maricopa County’s Web servers may place a “cookie” on the hard drive of a user’s computer. It enables Maricopa County’s Web servers to manage communications between the server and the browser and may be used to store Maricopa.gov personalization information provided by individuals.

All E-mail addresses maintained by Maricopa County contain the names of people who voluntarily communicated with or requested information from Maricopa County. At present, E-mail addresses or any personally identifying information about individuals are not sold or rented to any governmental or commercial entities. When a user has given Maricopa County his/her E-mail address for purposes of communicating with or requesting information from Maricopa County, that communications becomes a part of the public record and may be subject to disclosure under applicable Arizona and Federal statute(s).

For security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, Maricopa County’s Web site also employs measures to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.

About the Healthy Arizona Worksite Program

The Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) is a statewide program that provides Arizona employers with training, technical assistance, tools, and resources to design, implement, and evaluate worksite wellness initiatives. HAWP also works to create linkages between Arizona businesses engaging in healthy worksite efforts so they can learn from each other and share experiences.
