Disease Prevention through Diet

In this webinar we will discuss how food and beverage choices can impact one’s risk for chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease or stroke, hypertension and more. Presenter:

Ronald Gagliano, MD, Chairman of the Department of Surgery for Dignity Health Medical Group, and Associate Chief Medical Officer Oncology Physician Services at Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Ronald Gagliano is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. His expertise includes the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases of the small, intestine, colon, rectum and anus. He is an Associate Examiner for the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, and is a delegate to the American Medical Association.

Dr. Gagliano received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed residencies in Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center, and in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota. He has over 25 years’ experience as a surgical educator and is a former surgical residency program director. Dr. Gagliano is passionate about excellent, compassionate surgical care.
