About our speaker:

Michael Carchedi, DO, is a faculty physician at the Dignity Health Medical Group Internal Medicine -St. Joseph’s Clinic. 

Dr. Carchedi graduated, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Minor in Biology. Following graduation he worked as a critical care nurse for four years. He then went to the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr Carchedi served 4 years active duty in the military stationed at the United States Air Force Academy, 10th Medical Group earning the honors of Team of the year– Medical Specialties Flight; Air Force Medical Service Outstanding Medical Home of the Year and Medical Group Field Officer of the Quarter. Dr. Carchedi specializes in the long term care of the adult population including wellness, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment of disease. Along with the management of chronic medical conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease and chronic lung disease. He works with the patient and families to further understand the dynamics that play a role in the patient’s wellbeing. “We are a team and together we will navigate the patient’s health care needs through shared decision making,” said Dr. Carchedi. He is dedicated to patient care by helping patients achieve their health goals through empathy and kindness.

About the Healthy Arizona Worksite Program

The Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) is a statewide program that provides Arizona employers with training, technical assistance, tools, and resources to design, implement, and evaluate worksite wellness initiatives. HAWP also works to create linkages between Arizona businesses engaging in healthy worksite efforts so they can learn from each other and share experiences.
