Nitika Thawani, MD, Radiation Oncologist at Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center
Dr. Nitika Thawani is a radiation oncologist with the Dignity Health – Cancer Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology, and in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Thawani earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees from S.M.S. Medical College and Hospital in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, where she also completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology. She went on to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, as well as a residency in Radiation Oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where she worked as Chief Resident her final year.
