Delivering cancer care to a loved one can be difficult, but doing so during a pandemic makes it even more challenging. With stay-at-home orders, limited resources and more, you may have questions about how to keep your employees with cancer safe. For example, what cancer types increase one’s risk of contracting coronavirus-19? Should cancer treatment be delayed to avoid potential exposure? What about infusion therapy? Can this be done at home?
Join us as Carrie Peterson and Michelle Taylor, Oncology Nurse Practitioners with Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, share helpful tips on how to care for cancer patients during this health crisis.
